At the Marsh Academy students earn ‘points’ for good attendance, academic performance and behaviour. Points are entered by staff onto e-praise and then students can exchange these points for goods and activities as a reward for their hard work and effort. Parents/carers can log in to the epraise website to see the points awarded to their children and also their attendance data and timetables.
On this page you can find more details about how points are rewarded and the full terms and conditions for using the Marsh Reward Shop. Any questions regarding the shop can be sent here:

The Marsh Rewards Shop Terms and Conditions
- Items in the shop have no cash value and can not be resold by pupils or parents.
- The shop reserves the right to revoke pupils’ access to shop activities at any time. These decisions can not be appealed.
Points are issued by staff according to the school policy via Epraise. The shop can not issue Marsh Points.
Availability of Items
Items in the shop will be subject to change at any point. All items have limited availability and the shop operates on a ‘first come, first serve’ basis (subject to the fair use policy).
Fair Use Policy
The shop implements a fair use policy, which means pupils can only take part in certain activities once a month. A student can only purchase each stationary item once a term.
Refunds can be requested by pupils: online via the shop, in person at the shop or via email before collection. Once an item has been collected, the shop will not accept refund requests. Faulty goods will only be replaced within 24hrs of purchase.
Use of school equipment
All equipment used in shop activities must be respected by pupils and used appropriately at all times. Each activity has been risk assessed and pupils must follow the guidelines outlined by the member of staff supervising the activity to avoid risks to their health and safety. Inappropriate behaviour can result in the pupil’s access to shop activities being revoked.
During events held in the Theatre, Sports Hall and other classroom spaces pupils are expected to respect the space used, including keeping the space tidy and behaving appropriately. Any students not behaving appropriately will be removed from the activity and will have their shop rights revoked.
All businesses have undergone an assessment to ensure they are following the Marsh Academy’s Safe Guarding Policy. Apprentice days are classified as formal work experience for students and as such students are expected to behave appropriately in the setting they are in. Any reports of inappropriate behaviour will result in students losing their right to take part in future shop activities and their shop rights will be revoked.
In the event of another pupil using your account to purchase items from the shop you must inform Mr. Scrivener or IT Support immediately, either in person or by contacting
. Any stolen Marsh points will be refunded to pupils and the account password changed.
Other These Terms and Conditions are subject to change at any time. All users of the shop are subject to these terms and any future subsequent changes.
