Tracking your progress
As a school, we use CXK as our provider of independent and impartial advice. They keep a record of discussions with pupils, including information on your aspirations, goals, choices, and any changes to your journey. This is shared with the Careers Team in school with your consent. School records will also track and monitor data on what Careers opportunities you have accessed, including information on visitors you have interacted with, visits to external sites, presentations you have been offered from other places of study or employment etc. Overall, our provision is monitored by the Tracker Tool which helps us to ensure we are meeting 8 government benchmarks known as the Gatsby Benchmarks, ensuring that we offer our students the very best career information and guidance. This information, together, helps to inform our future planning for careers provision.
Our careers programme is available to view on the right hand side of this page. However, parents, carers, students, employers and teachers can access the full details of our careers programme offer by contacting our Careers Team via the school (“Careers Team Contact Details” at the bottom of this page).
The school’s careers programme and policy will be reviewed and updated every July, ready for the new school year in September.
Our team is made up of experienced and qualified teaching staff who are appropriately trained and skilled in offering a wide, challenging and varied careers programme.
