Food heritage project
Year 7 students spent the morning with Catherine Farr from Kent Wildlife Trust making non-cook chutney as part of the food heritage project.
The project has been started to encourage 11 to 25 year olds to look at food history in the Romney Marsh, with focus on the historic WW2s ‘Dig for Victory campaign’ and rationing.
'We grow food in Marsh Community Garden, research, cook, interview people, make exhibitions, collect recipes and much more'. For more information please visit -http://mcgyoungroots.tumblr.com/
