The new academic year will see the launch of a brand new football academy at Marsh Academy in Romney Marsh.
We’ve teamed up with the Gillingham Football Club to offer students on the Post-16 Sports Pathway the opportunity to enrich their current studies and join the Football Academy.
The aim of the academy will be to improve their technical ability, tactical awareness and physical fitness. It will also look to improve their mental approach to their performance, their self-discipline and promote an environment where football becomes the catalyst for successful academic learning.
Their studies will see students gain a BTEC National Diploma, a L2 Certificate in Coaching Strength and Conditioning in Sport and also a L2 Award in community Sports Leadership. The Football Academy will comprise of five hours of training a week with Wednesday matches in the Kent School League.
To find out more the Marsh Academy will be holding an Open Evening on Thursday 14th January, 6-7:30pm or please contact
