Uniform

The uniform for the Academy was designed in consultation with the Student Council. As ambassadors, they wanted to be represented in a way in which they would be perceived as smart, proud and grown up. Students were keen on the idea of incorporating the four colours of the Microsoft Windows logo, one of the Academy sponsors, with the colours of the four mini schools. The effect is striking and modern and provides a unifying element to the Academy uniform.

The details of the uniform are:

Years 7-11

Tie
In appropriate and worn at traditional length.

Formal white shirt
Must be tucked in and top collar button is to be fastened

Marsh Academy blazer
A black jumper may be worn under the blazer, but not instead of it, and the tie must be visible

Formal plain black trousers or skirt
The trousers need to be smart and not overly elasticated, and the skirt needs to be suitable for a school setting, not being too short or tight

Plain black shoes with plain ankle socks
Leather, traditional shoes only.
